My Background: Fitness from the Ground Up
My journey into fitness wasn’t born from a single “aha” moment — it was shaped by years of hands-on experience, study, and an insatiable curiosity about the human body and what makes it thrive.
I started out as a personal trainer over ten years ago, working with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels. From complete beginners taking their first steps in a gym, to athletes fine-tuning their performance, I’ve had the privilege of guiding hundreds of clients toward their goals. As I coached, I also studied — diving deep into exercise science, biomechanics, nutrition, behavioral psychology, and health communication. I wanted to know not just what works, but why it works — and how to communicate that clearly.
Over time, my love of teaching evolved into a new mission: creating content that would reach people far beyond the gym walls. That’s when I joined The Home Fitness Corp, where I’ve spent the past two years as the lead voice behind our health and fitness blog. Every article I write is rooted in what I’ve learned from working directly with real people — their challenges, their questions, and their victories.
